Mr Daylon Fredericks

Treasurer

Looking back, we have grown through our program delivery, throughput of our beneficiaries, and organizationally. Our pioneering program which is the Teacher Assistant Program set the tone for us as a community delivery agent for change. It’s prudent on the Board to seek a firm footprint in the Western Cape, however would like to see a wider footprint in the rest of the country and cross border. We have received very positive feedback across all our programs and believe we have reached our target market and made the necessary impact. Our Teacher Assistant Programme was taught in a structured way, however we should embark on the articulation of an Accreditation Program. It is my desire to see AKSDC become self-sufficient and not be completely donor reliant and have our own means of income. Our delivery in excellence should set us apart from other non-profit organisations.
