This has been a great opportunity and learning curve for me. I am in awe of how AKSDC as an organisation has made a difference in the lives of many, in a tangible way. It has also heightened my awareness to the plight of the people, at the same time realising the asset we have with the organisational programs. AKSDC emphasis is on skills development to aid sustainability and gainful employment within the community and is commended. Ashley Kriel is a national figure and the impact his work as an activist has made is significant, must be spread through the work the organisation engages, reaching as many youth as possible. AKSDC affords candidates the opportunity to better themselves to earn and skill and re-skill themselves for the job market.It will then be easier to set realistic goals and life’s challenges, as well as having a clear vision about steps to achieve set goals. I thank the community for giving me the opportunity serve them in this capacity.
